Prepare for Germany!
We offer partial scholarships to our most motivated participants. The scholarship covers liability insurance, administration, social and cultural events, international seminars, consulting, mentoring and workshops, and also includes monthly pocket money.

Alumni for Summer 2025
The Summer Leaders for Future program runs from July 1 to August 31. The minimum stay is two months, with the option to participate for up to six months. Each additional month after the first two costs €980.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. People from every country and professional field are welcome. You need English or German at B1 level or above and should be motivated, independent and responsible.
You need a complete chronological CV with a photo, written in English or German. It should include your academic background and your work or volunteering experience.
Participants stay in furnished apartments at the Copernicus Berlin Campus in central Berlin. The accommodation offers single and double rooms, high-speed internet, cable television and access to laundry facilities.
A typical apartment has a single bedroom, a two-person bedroom and a living room for three participants in total. Everyone has their own bed, desk, wardrobe and internet connection; the kitchen and bathroom are shared.
No. Participants buy and prepare their own food during the program.
No separate utility payment is required. Copernicus Berlin covers water, hot water, heating, internet and cable television for the accommodation.
The internship is arranged to provide international work experience and develop professional and personal skills. The Copernicus Berlin team provides advice and assistance, and internships may also be available within Copernicus Berlin itself.
You can expect practical experience, stronger English and German skills, intercultural exchange, professional development, networking and an international community in Berlin.
Cancellations four months or more before the program start receive an 80% refund. Cancellations less than four months before the start receive a 20% refund. No refund is provided after the program begins, including cancellations related to visa issues.
